1. The church of Golek, Bela Krajina, Slovenia
\n<\/strong>I particularly like the lines in this picture: the sun hidden in the colourful clouds and the wet country lane leading to the pink church\u2014my favourite picture of 2024.<\/p>\n

2. Zagreb-Split highway near Modrus, Croatia. \u00a0<\/strong>
\nThis picture had been on my mind for quite a while. There is always this difficulty when the sun hits straight into your lens. The subtle sunrise, the windy sky, and the fly-over uncovered by the mist made it another typical fingerprint picture. The kind of style that is so dear to me.<\/p>\n

3. The excellent lake reflection at Plina Jezero near Gnjeci, Croatia.\u00a0<\/strong>
\nI was planning to do some other lakes near Ploce. But I was a bit disappointed with my possibilities. I explored the nearby surroundings better and fell in love with this lake.<\/p>\n

4. Jancani, dreamy fairytale village, Bosiljevo, Croatia.<\/strong>
\nThis village is very near to where I live. I have tried to capture it for years but was never satisfied with the harsh light and the result. Finally, in January 2024 we had a big blanket of snow, and the other day I was offered this dreamy atmosphere.<\/p>\n

5. Sveti Lenart, Pregrada, Croatia<\/strong>
\nMy favourite place to take photographs in Croatia is the hills around Pregrada. It took me four times in April 2024 to capture the image I had in mind. Finally, I was lucky to have a more interesting sky and mist following my desired pattern.<\/p>\n

6. Ina gas station, Ravna Gora (gorski kotar), Croatia
\n<\/strong>Winter arrived early in 2024. This one was taken on November 17. My friend Karl and I wanted to discuss a new location, so we stopped at the gas station. The first location had no fog. Suddenly, I noticed the beautiful violet colour in the sky. The fresh snow on the neon light created this typical American Art style.<\/p>\n

7. Mali Tabor, Croatia<\/strong>
\nI found this location in June, and it immediately became the first one on my list for Autumn photography. I was so lucky the first time I got there. I booked a room nearby so I would not have to drive so early.I love how the first beams of sunlight hit the old castle of Mali Tabor. The sky was not very interesting, but the lingering fog compensated for that.<\/p>\n

8. Cvetlin, Croatia<\/strong>
\nThe hills of Zagorje are my favourites. The mist made the special effects this morning.<\/p>\n

9. Mura River, Sveti Martin na Muru, Croatia.\u00a0<\/strong>
\nThese days, it is easy to trick the light. But I love how the sun reflected in the little boat. That was the cherry on the cake in this picture.<\/p>\n

10. Nerezine Monastery, Losinj, Croatia<\/strong>
\nOn the last day of the year in 2024, I shot this picture on the Island of Losing. It was a lucky shot as I did not explore the surroundings first. All my sunrise pictures on the Island did not work out as I wanted them to. But then, later in the morning, just as the mist retreated, I found the sea in this perfect calm condition, offering marvellous reflections.<\/p>\n
